Paul Dorr

Paul Dorr, DVM, PhD, MACE, currently serves as Principal Scientist in Clinical Development - Infectious Diseases and previously held the position of Sr. Associate Director for Clinical Vaccines at Boehringer Ingelheim since January 2017. Prior to this, Paul Dorr was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri from June 2007 to August 2022, focusing on Epidemiology and Public Health in the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. Paul Dorr's experience also includes roles at Merial as Director of Production Animal Clinical R&D and Senior Veterinary Scientist in Clinical R&D, where responsibilities encompassed clinical trial design, data management, and project leadership. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University and as a Veterinarian at Murphy-Brown LLC, where involvement in a cooperative veterinary training program enhanced practical skills in Population Medicine. Academic credentials include a PhD in Population Medicine and Veterinary Public Health from North Carolina State University, a DVM from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a BS in Animal Science from Illinois State University.
