Derek Willand

Derek Willand, PMP, SFPC, is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the industrial security sector. Currently serving as the Lead, Industrial Security at Boeing since November 2024, Derek Willand has previously held significant positions including Security Program Manager and Facility Security Officer at SkyWater Technology and Research Innovations Incorporated. Derek Willand's background also includes key roles at L3Harris Technologies and Leonardo DRS, as well as operational experience with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, where duties included serving on the SWAT team and in the Violent Crimes Division. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's degree in Intelligence/Homeland Security from American Military University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.
