Jim Hileman serves as the Vice President and Chief Engineer for Sustainability and Future Mobility at Boeing. Hileman has extensive expertise in the aviation sector, holding multiple leadership roles, including Co-Rapporteur of the Fuels Task Group and Alternative Fuels Task Force at the International Civil Aviation Organization, and membership on the Independent Expert Panel for Integrated Assessment of Fuel Burn, Noise, and Emissions. Additional contributions include serving as Chief Scientific and Technical Advisor for Environment and Energy at the FAA, Principal Research Engineer at MIT, and Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge. Jim Hileman holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, earned between 1998 and 2004.
