Shaun Pickering

Shaun Pickering is a highly experienced engineer in the aerospace industry with a focus on certification and structural engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Certification Engineer at Boeing since October 2023, Shaun previously held the position of Lead Certification Engineer at ZeroAvia from October 2022 to July 2023. Shaun's extensive tenure at Boeing Commercial Airplanes from April 2006 to October 2022 involved acting as a Structural Engineer and FAA Authorized Representative, leading airframe-structures through design, analysis, and certification processes. Earlier experiences include roles as an R&D Test Engineer at Consolidated Metco and a Technician & Sales professional at Sound Dive Center. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and several certificates in Aircraft Composite Structural Analysis and Structural Loads from the University of Washington and The University of Kansas, respectively.
