Mike Jordan

Mike Jordan has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to wireless networking and telecommunications. Mike began their career as an ISP Network Engineer and Account Manager at SourceNet Corporation. Mike then worked as a Systems Integrator and Engineer at On Demand Network/Myrio, where they were involved in the development of IPTV technology. After that, they worked as a Creative Developer in the Tactical Creative Team at Answerthink, specializing in HTML, JavaScript, and Flash development. Mike later became an IT and Wireless Networking Consultant, providing networking solutions for businesses and special events. Subsequently, they held roles as a Senior Wireless Network Engineer and Administrator at Silver State Communications LLC, where they managed the installation and deployment of wireless broadband access solutions. Mike then joined EarthLink Municipal Networks as a Senior Manager, overseeing the implementation of Municipal Wi-Fi network deployments nationwide. After that, they worked as the Director of Wireless Network Engineering at Systems Solutions Group, where they designed and sold wireless video housing solutions. Mike then joined Motorola Solutions as a Senior Systems Engineer, leading the design and implementation of the BayWEB LTE Public Safety project. Most recently, they worked at Boingo Wireless as the Director and then Senior Director of Wi-Fi Solutions Engineering, managing a global design team and supporting over 200 networks worldwide. Mike also played a key role in RFP responses, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Mike Jordan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia, Creative Design with a Minor in Advertising from the University of Nevada, Reno, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Mike also holds various certifications, including the Certified Wireless Design Professional (CWDP) and Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) from CWNP, iBwave Wi-Fi from iBwave Solutions Inc., and several certifications from SpiderCloud Wireless, Inc. and CompTIA.
