Carmen Izzo

Carmen Izzo is a highly experienced musician and educator, currently serving as President of the Greater Idaho Musicians Association since October 2019. Carmen holds the position of Principal Clarinet with the Boise Philharmonic Association and has been with the Las Vegas Philharmonic as Bass Clarinet/Assistant Principal Clarinet since September 2016. Additionally, Carmen is an Adjunct Professor at The College of Idaho and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Northwest Nazarene University since August 2017. Previous notable roles include Principal Clarinet with Central City Opera and Co-Principal Clarinet with the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra. Carmen's early career included freelancing as a teacher and performer and performing with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Carmen earned a Master of Music in Music Performance from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from DePaul University.
