Emil Backlund

Emil Backlund has had a varied career, beginning in 2006 as a Process Operator at Outokumpu, where they worked until 2008. In 2010, they joined Handel Information Technologies as a Software Engineer and Customer Solution Engineer. In 2011, they were a System Developer at Star Republic, then a System Developer at Atea Global Services from 2013 to 2015, where they also completed a Master Thesis. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a System Developer at iCore Solutions AB. Since 2018, they have been a Staff Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Development Team Lead at Bokio, where they have lead several large initiatives for invoices and other types of sales, introduced a zero-bug policy, and built up a strong Team Lead to Product Manager relationship and structure.

Emil Backlund completed a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology between 2007 and 2010.
