Ruud Giebels

Ruud Giebels has extensive experience in ecommerce and strategic development, currently serving as Head of International Network Development at bol.com since May 2018. Previously held several positions at bol.com, including Director Ecommerce Proposition & Strategy and Lead Product Manager Ecommerce. Prior to bol.com, Ruud was Managing Director of Reclamefolder.nl from December 2016 to May 2018, overseeing the leading online promotions platform in the Netherlands. Ruud also served as Chief Operating Officer for Groupon Nederland, managing operations across the Benelux region from January 2012 to August 2015. Earlier career stages included consulting at The Boston Consulting Group and internships at Philips Research and Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Ruud holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s Degree in Physics from Utrecht University.
