Valentin Pistorozzi

Valentin Pistorozzi has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Valentin is the Executive Director and co-founder of boldcode_, an IT company specializing in digital solutions and cybersecurity services. Valentin played a key role in growing the company from 2 co-founders to a team of 20 employees. Valentin managed technical teams across different locations and established offices in Paris and Kathmandu. Additionally, Valentin built and managed relationships with clients and partners, formulated strategic partnerships, and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the company.

Valentin also worked as the Director of IT Development at Data Friendly Space, an INGO focused on creating custom data-centric applications for humanitarian organizations. Valentin contributed to the organization's significant growth, increasing its annual revenue from $169k in 2019 to $3M in 2022. Valentin was responsible for developing the IT department and served as an IT Project Manager for data and cybersecurity projects for UN agencies and INGOs.

Before their roles at boldcode_ and Data Friendly Space, Valentin participated in a social entrepreneurship program and pre-incubator at Ticket for Change. Valentin also gained experience as a Strategy Analyst at ENGIE, where they conducted macroeconomic analysis and developed models for macroeconomic and energy demand forecasting. Valentin's career began with an internship as a Business Developer at Électricité de France (EDF), a leading electricity producer and supplier.

Valentin Pistorozzi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Preparatory Class from Lycée Louis Lachenal in 2012. Valentin then went on to study at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, where they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering Technology from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Valentin attended IFP School, specializing in Energy & Markets, Energy Economics, and Finance and completed their Master of Science degree. In 2017, they briefly attended HEC Paris for the Social Entrepreneurship Program - Ticket for Change.
