Jocelyn Sargent

Jocelyn Sargent currently serves as the Director of Restorative Justice in Medicine at the American Medical Association since January 2022. Additionally, Jocelyn holds the position of Advisor at Boldly Go Philanthropy since November 2020 and previously worked as an Executive Strategic Consultant and Interim Director for the New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund until February 2024. From August 2016 to September 2019, Jocelyn was the Executive Director at The Hyams Foundation, and prior to that, served as a Program Officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation from December 2005 to June 2015. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
