Brian Phillips

Brian Phillips is an experienced electrical engineering manager currently working at Bollinger Motors since November 2023. With a robust background at General Motors from November 2014 to June 2023, Brian held various management roles, including Engineering Group Manager for Power and Signal Distribution and Automatic Transmission Controls, as well as Lead Brake Systems Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles. Previous experience at Ford Motor Company as a Core Brake Engineer contributed to the development of brake system designs and DFMEAs. Additional project management expertise was gained at Norcon, Inc., and during a tenure at Dura Automotive Systems, where Brian managed engineering teams and designed testing methods for parking brake systems. Brian holds a Master’s Degree in Global Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
