Sotiris Pittas

Sotiris Pittas is a seasoned civil and structural engineer with extensive experience in both leadership and technical roles within the construction industry. Currently serving as a Co-Founder at Bolsterup since December 2022, Sotiris previously held the position of Director at the Council for Registration and Control of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors from March 2019 to April 2022, where responsibilities included managing the Council’s operations across Cyprus and implementing strategic improvements. Earlier career roles include Senior Structural Engineer at BESIX, where project optimization and peer design reviews were key responsibilities, as well as a Structural Engineer at both BESIX and ADG Engineers, focusing on design solutions and project management. Sotiris began their career as a Civil Engineer with Tofarco, specializing in the design of concrete housing structures. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, both obtained from The University of Manchester.
