Project Engineer/ Urban Designer at Bolton & Menk, Inc.

Frances Miramon, P.E. has a range of work experience in the engineering and design field. Frances started their career at Sky Ranch as a Camp Counselor from May 2013 to August 2014. In 2016, they worked as an Engineering Assistant- Community Development at Jones|Carter for two months before joining the University of Mississippi as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Center for Advanced Infrastructure Technology (CAIT). Here, they prepared technical briefs and compiled transportation data. Frances also worked in the Nano Infrastructure Research Group at the University of Mississippi, where they developed cementitious binders for contour crafting while optimizing resources. In 2017, they worked as a Transportation Analyst at Stantec and then joined ColeJenest & Stone in 2018 as a Civil Design Intern. Frances continued their career at ColeJenest & Stone as a Civil Designer, eventually becoming a Project Engineer/Urban Designer. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2019.

Frances Miramon, P.E. obtained a Master's degree in Urban Design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi from 2012 to 2017. During their undergraduate studies, Frances Miramon also spent a year at The University of Edinburgh, where they focused on Civil Engineering. Additionally, they hold the certification of Professional Engineer (PE), which was obtained from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors in February 2022. Prior to becoming a licensed engineer, Frances Miramon obtained the Engineer Intern certification from the Mississippi Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors in May 2017.
