Sherman Perrault

Senior Engineering Technician at Bolton & Menk, Inc.

Sherman Perrault has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Sherman started their career in 1987 as a Civil Engineering Technician at Jeffries & Associates, Inc., where they were responsible for drafting preliminary mapping and preparing construction drawings. Perrault then worked at Cook Flatt and Strobel, Engineers as a Civil Engineering Technician, creating preliminary drawings and layouts for state and commercial projects.

In 2000, Perrault became a Senior Civil Engineering Technician at EnviroScience, Inc. Sherman assisted engineers with roadway design and prepared layout plans for various county and city projects. Perrault then joined SRF Consulting Group in 2001 as a Principal Engineering Technician, specializing in road and interchange design. Sherman collaborated with engineers to complete projects and met state and county requirements.

Perrault's next position was at MDS Staffing and IT Solutions in 2007, where they worked as a Civil Engineering Technician. Sherman redesigned utility layouts for the City of Minneapolis and contributed to the creation of a city-wide database. Following this, Perrault joined Prosource Technologies, Inc. as a Principal Civil Engineering Technician. Their responsibilities included consulting with clients on pipeline projects and assisting with right of way location.

In 2009, Perrault became an Independent Business Owner at All Out Ink Tattoo and Body Piercing, Inc. Sherman managed seven employees, handled customer service and public relations, and performed bookkeeping and marketing duties. From 2013 to 2015, Perrault owned and operated Perrault's Furniture Restoration, Inc., where they specialized in custom refinishing and restoration of furniture, managed a team of three employees, and handled customer service, advertising, and marketing.

Perrault's most recent position is as a Senior Engineering Technician at Bolton & Menk, Inc., which they began in 2015. Sherman collaborates with engineers to design and complete various projects, specializing in road and interchange design. Perrault ensures compliance with state and county requirements and deadlines.

In 1981-1982, they attended Northwest Iowa Technical College and earned a Vocational Diploma in Masonry & Drafting.

From 1984-1986, they pursued an Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting & AutoCAD Drafting and Design from Platt College.

In 1999, Perrault obtained a Certificate in Advanced Geo-Pak Training from Cook, Flatt & Strobel Engineering.

In 2000, they received another Certificate, this time in Advanced Geo-Pak Training, from Enviroscience Inc.

In 2009, Perrault attended Master Academy and earned two Certificates, one in AutoCAD 2009 Level 1 and another in Autodesk Inventor 2010 Level 1.
