Yoel Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Yoel began their career in 1996 as a Line Cook at Claremont Hotel / Jordan's Restaurant. Yoel then worked as a Lead Line Cook at Hilton Corporation / Grissini's Italian Trattoria before moving on to become a Manager / Head Baker at Specialties Cafe. In 2001, Yoel joined Guckenheimer Enterprises, Inc as an Executive Chef at Bay View Cafe and later at Wind Tower Cafe. Yoel then transitioned to the role of Corp. Chef / Food Safety Supervisor at Guckenheimer from 2004 to 2011. Yoel went on to work at bon appetit management company as an Executive Chef / Regional Safety Manager for two years. Since 2013, they have held the position of Director of Operations @ Genentech at Bon Appétit Management Company, where they oversee overall success, manages outlets, and executes events.

Yoel Cohen attended Diablo Valley College from 1995 to 1998, where they pursued an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. The program focused on subjects such as Food Safety, Nutrition, and General studies.
