Jamelle Bowers has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. They started their career at Johns Hopkins Sinai Medical Center as a Resident in Internal Medicine from 1997 to 2000. In 2009, they joined Catholic Health Partners as the Hospitalist Director until 2013. From 2012 to 2013, Bowers served as the Chair of the Department of Medicine at Mercy Western Hills. They then moved on to Mercy Health (formerly Mercy Health Partners) where they were the Chief of Staff from 2014 to 2019. In 2009, Bowers also started working at Sound Physicians as the MD Clinical Director and later became the Regional Medical Director until 2022. They recently joined Bon Secours Mercy Health as the Vice President of Medical Affairs in 2022 and will assume the role of Acute Care CMO, Mercy Anderson and Clermont in June 2023.
Jamelle Bowers attended Summit Country Day for an unknown period of time and did not earn a degree. Following that, they studied Biology at Harvard University from 1988 to 1992 and obtained a BA degree. Jamelle then pursued further education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine from 1992 to 1997, completing an MD degree.
