Brendan M. Sheehan

Brendan maintains a diverse complex litigation practice in state and federal courts as well as in alternative dispute forums. He represents a wide array of clients, including companies, organizations and individuals in commercial disputes, companies and municipalities in environmental litigation, and colleges and universities in NCAA enforcement actions.

Brendan handles a variety of litigation matters, including cases involving contract disputes, insurance coverage disputes, accounting and securities fraud, copyright claims, environmental disputes, non-compete agreements and unfair competition, adversary bankruptcy proceedings and civil rights.

Brendan has counseled clients through every phase of the litigation process. He has extensive e-discovery, motion and appellate experience, including successfully arguing before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Prior to joining the firm, Brendan clerked for the Honorable Gary L. Sharpe, then-Chief United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York. He also worked as a litigation associate for an international law firm, where he worked primarily on securities fraud litigation for financial institution clients.
