Lena Cohrs

Lena Cohrs is a skilled professional with extensive experience in policy and advocacy within the development finance sector. Currently serving as a Policy and Advocacy Adviser at Bond UK since October 2020, Lena has also held roles such as Policy Communities Coordinator and Syria Programme Officer at Cara Syria Programme. Previous positions include Campaigns and Research Assistant at Crisis Action and Communications Intern at the International Crisis Group. Lena's early career included experience as a Teaching Assistant for refugee children and a Research Assistant at the University of St Andrews, complemented by internships at the German Council on Foreign Relations and the German Parliament. Academically, Lena holds a Master of Letters in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of St Andrews and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth, alongside an Erasmus Semester at the University of Dundee.
