Joey Chang

Joey Chang has extensive experience as an animator, starting in 2005 at CGCG and progressing to various roles at different companies. Joey was a Lead Animator at Mercury Filmworks from 2006 to 2007, then moved on to Rainmaker Entertainment Inc, where they held the position of Senior Animator from February 2014 to October 2014. Joey later became a Lead Animator at Rainmaker from June 2011 to December 2012. Joey also worked at Sony Pictures Imageworks in 2013 and 2015 as an Animator and Senior Animator, respectively. In 2014, they were an Animator at Industrial Light & Magic. From 2016 to present, they have been a Lead Animator at Digital Domain 3.0. Currently, they are working at Bonfire Studios as an Animator since May 2023.

Joey Chang completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of British Columbia between 1998 and 2004, with a focus on Fine Arts. Additionally, they earned a Certificate of 2D and Maya Animation from Vancouver Film School during the period of 2000-2001, specializing in Character Animation.
