Hongbo Sun

Hongbo Sun has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as an Enrolment Advisor at Study Group. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Managing Director for the Hello China radio show at 103.2 Dublin City FM. In 2014, they were a Co-founder at ApplyMetrics and also worked in software development at Guidewire Software. From 2014 to 2016, they were the CEO & Co-founder of SimpliFly, a company focused on travel retail shopping. In 2017, they co-founded and became the CEO of Bonflite, a company revolutionizing travel retail shopping for airlines, duty-free operators, and airports. Hongbo also became an Alumni at Techstars in 2020 and later served as a mentor at SITA starting from 2021.

Hongbo Sun attended the Wharton School from 2017 to 2018, where they pursued Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Before that, from 2012 to 2015, they studied at University College Dublin and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Prior to their bachelor's degree, from 2011 to 2012, they completed an Associate's degree at University College Dublin. Additionally, in December 2018, Hongbo obtained a certification in Venture Deals from the Kauffman Fellows.
