Maddy Beckmann is currently the Enterprise Sales Manager at Bonusly. Maddy has previously worked as a Guest Curator for The Gun Show, a Receptionist, Director, and Assistant for Corporate Development.
Maddy has always been passionate about the arts. Maddy started their career in the industry as a receptionist for the French Cultural Center / Alliance Française of Boston. From there they went on to be a director at Robert Klein Gallery and later an assistant for corporate development at Museum of Fine Arts Boston. In 2015, they had the opportunity to guest curator The Gun Show, bringing together photographs of significant visual merit marked by the artists’ inclusion of guns. The intention of the group exhibition was not to say ‘guns are good’ or ‘guns are bad,’ but rather to point out the presence of firearms in our visual and verbal vocabularies and consider their influence on the collective unconscious.
Maddy’s experience in the arts has given their a unique perspective that they bring to their current role at Bonusly. Maddy is able to see the potential in people and help them reach their full potential. Maddy is passionate about their work and loves helping others achieve their goals.
Maddy Beckmann has a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Writing and French & Francophone Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. Maddy also has a Visual Design degree from General Assembly. Maddy has studied abroad in Paris, France where they took classes in Art Theirtory, Modern French Literature, French Culture, and 20th Century French Theirtory at the University of Delaware.
