Jeff King

Jeff King, P.Log has extensive work experience in operations and logistics.

Jeff currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Book Depot, leading a team of 200+ employees and driving operational efficiency and revenue growth through strategic initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Jeff held positions such as Director of Operations at J & J Development, Director of Operations at McKesson Canada, and Director of Contract Logistics at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics - Middle East and South Asia.

Jeff has also worked as a Senior Warehouse & Distribution Consultant at Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Services Company, where they designed and set up chemical and semi-automated parts warehouses.

Jeff had a key role in creating a national transport network and managing three distribution hubs as the Director of Country Distribution & Transport at Flow Progressive Logistics.

Jeff has experience in international logistics as well, serving as the Country Logistics Manager at IKEA Doha, where they oversaw the supply chain function and managed the import and transport of inbound products.

Earlier in their career, Jeff worked as the Distribution Center Manager at Henry Schein and as a Warehouse Supervisor at Parmalat Canada.

Jeff started their career as a Branch Manager at AP Wagner.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated expertise in improving productivity, streamlining processes, and achieving cost savings. Jeff has also gained experience in hiring, mentoring, and managing diverse teams.

Jeff King, P.Log attended Cambrian College from 1989 to 1990, where they studied Hotel & Restaurant Management. In 2013, they obtained certification as a Professional Logitician (P.Log).
