Dr. Marion Damm

Co-Founder Learning Centre in Mongolia at BOOKBRIDGE

Dr. Marion Damm has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Dr. Marion is currently working as a Global Innovation Manager at TÜV SÜD since March 2019. Prior to that, they co-founded a Learning Centre in Mongolia for BOOKBRIDGE in January 2017.

Before joining BOOKBRIDGE, Dr. Damm had a long tenure at Siemens, where they held multiple roles. From October 2016 to February 2019, they served as a Global Senior EHS Manager. Additionally, from June 2017 to May 2018, they worked as an Intrapreneur at Siemens. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Senior Communication Consultant from October 2013 to October 2016 and as an Environmental Expert & Reporting from October 2011 to October 2013.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Damm worked as a Program Manager & Climate Protection Officer at the Ministry of the Environment and Public Health from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Marion also worked as a Research Assistant at the United Nations University - Institute for Environment and Human Security from October 2005 to September 2008.

Dr. Marion Damm's education history begins in 1999, when they attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. There, they obtained their Diploma in Geography, Remote Sensing, GIS, and Climatology in 2004. During their undergraduate studies, Dr. Damm participated in a student exchange program at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2001-2002.

Following their undergraduate studies, Dr. Damm pursued a Ph.D. in Ingenieurwissenschaften at the United Nations University, completing the program from 2004 to 2008.

In 2017, they attended WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, where they obtained a General Management Plus degree in General Management and Social Entrepreneurship.

In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Damm completed a Change Management – Grundlagen course through LinkedIn in October 2018. Dr. Marion also acquired a Design Thinking Master certification from XDi - Experience Design Institut. Other certifications include Finance for non-financers, General Management at WHU, Leading the digital business transformation, People & Business Management, Project Management, Storytelling, and Visual Scrum Facilitation; however, the institutions or dates of completion are not provided for these certifications.
