David Risher

David Risher is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Lyft since July 2021, Risher also co-founded and leads #HalfMyDAF, aimed at mobilizing Donor Advised Funds for social good, since March 2020. Additionally, Risher holds the position of Board Chair at Equeum and serves as a Strategic Advisor at Bookclubs. A co-founder and former CEO of Worldreader, Risher was instrumental in promoting literacy among children. Previous experience includes significant roles at Amazon.com as SVP of US Retail and at Microsoft as General Manager. Risher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and received an honorary Doctor of Philosophy from Wilson College.
