David Wright

David Wright is currently the Head of Scientific Communications at BOOM! Healthcare Communications. With an extensive background in medical and digital writing, David has worked with various clients in agencies, pharma, and academia. David is also the Founder and Co-presenter of the podcast Sick of Health, where David discusses important topics in healthcare in a light-hearted manner. Prior to their current role, David has held positions as a Freelance Medical Writer, Medical Copywriter, and a Postdoc at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, where David focused on respiratory disease research. David holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology from King's College London and an MSci in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol.
