Michael Gammons

Michael Gammons has a diverse work experience in the events and meetings industry. Michael has held positions at various companies, starting as a Convention Services Manager at Westin Santa Clara and later becoming a National Sales Manager at Westin Providence. Michael also worked as a Senior Convention Services Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In their previous roles, they managed conferences, incentive trips, product launches, and user conferences with attendance ranging from 300 to 3,000. As a Senior Meetings Manager at MC Communications, they successfully managed a staff of 4 Meeting Planners and oversaw over 45 conferences annually. Michael then joined One World Partners (now BCD Meetings and Incentives) as a Senior Program Manager, where they managed domestic and international events and helped develop conference themes and messaging. Michael also served as an Operations Manager at BCD Meetings & Incentives LLC, where they directed event budget preparation and management. Michael further gained experience as an Independent Contractor, providing complex meeting solutions and designing plans for high-value clients like Yahoo!, AMD, Deloitte, and Dolby Events. Michael also negotiated and secured business contracts with notable industry leaders. Most recently, they held roles as an Account Director at Key Events, a Senior Event Manager at NetSuite, and currently serves as the Director of Global Events at Dell Boomi. In their current position, they oversee global event operations, manages event budgets, negotiates contracts, and tells the company's story through live events and customer activities.
