Alexander K. is currently working as the Managing Director of Product Strategy at Boosted.ai, where they focus on using machine learning to enhance investment strategies. Alexander joined the company in April 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of EMEA New Business Lines Lead at Uber from July 2018 to April 2021. In 2017, Alexander was the Growth & Strategic Partnerships Lead at Plum for a brief period. Alexander began their career at Scotiabank in 2011, where they worked as a Trader/Portfolio Manager responsible for managing $9 billion in assets. Alexander also served as an Analyst in the Investment Management and Trading rotation at Scotiabank. Before joining Scotiabank, they worked at DundeeWealth Inc. as a Private Investments Analyst and a Trading Associate from 2008 to 2011.

Alexander K. completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the London Business School between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance from Concordia University, which they completed between 2002 and 2007. In addition to their formal education, Alexander holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute, which they obtained in 2014.
