Michael McFarland possesses extensive experience in the medical and culinary fields. Currently serving as an Afloat Training Specialist with the US Navy Afloat Training Group since January 2024, McFarland has had a long-standing career with the US Navy since December 2004, holding positions such as Independent Duty Corpsman and Hospital Corpsman Chief Petty Officer, focusing on the care and training of military personnel. Additionally, McFarland has been a Veteran Ambassador for Boot Campaign since August 2012. Prior to military service, culinary roles were held as Lead Cook at Coeur d'Alene Resort and Pantry Cook at Steamplant Grill. McFarland holds a degree in Clinical Health Sciences from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, completed between 2019 and 2021, and graduated from Priest River Lamanna High School in 2001.
