Andy Brittan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Tannlin as a Control Systems Engineer, where they were involved in designing, manufacturing, and commissioning precision thin metal laser cutting systems. Andy also had responsibilities in building and tuning motion control systems, electrical and mechanical design, and manufacturing electrical control panels. In 2014, they briefly worked at Glasgow 2014 Limited as an Overlay Energy Services Engineer. Since 2018, they have been working at Booth Welsh, initially as a Control System Engineer and currently as the Head of Technology Development & Digitalisation. In this role, they have been involved in programming, testing, and commissioning automation control systems and leading the company's efforts in digitization through the development of Augmented Reality technologies.
Andy Brittan earned a BENG(Hons) degree in Mechanical Electronic System Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University, studying from 2010 to 2014.
