Vytautas Verseckas

Vytautas Verseckas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Vytautas began their career as a Chief Specialist at the Centre of Information Technologies of Education, Ministry of Education and Science of Lithuania in 2003. Vytautas then worked as a Microsoft Education Technology Advisor at Microsoft Lietuva from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they joined Laverdi, UAB as a Project Manager, primarily focusing on pre-sales and sales for custom development projects. Vytautas also had experience in developing using .NET, PHP, and JavaScript during this time.

In 2009, Verseckas started working at Lotto Baltica, UAB as an IT Manager. In this role, they led the in-house development of gaming projects, including lottery and casual gaming. Vytautas was responsible for programming in Flash, PHP, Ultimate++, and Symfony framework, as well as integrating payment gateways, gaming web services, and retail systems. Vytautas also handled software development for gaming TV shows, MMO games, and performed Linux server administration. Additionally, they managed external contractors, in-house developers, and the IT support team. Vytautas remained at Lotto Baltica, UAB until 2014.

From 2000 to 2008, Verseckas worked as a Freelance Programmer, providing their programming services on a freelance basis. Vytautas also co-founded APPSTU, UAB in 2011, where they served as the Director and Shareholder.

Since 2018, Verseckas has been working at Boozt and Boozt Technology Baltics as a Team Lead and Back-end Developer. Vytautas has extensive experience in this role and continues to contribute their expertise to the company.

Vytautas Verseckas has a diverse education history. Vytautas began their academic journey at Kuršėnų Lauryno Ivinskio gimnazija, where they completed their secondary education from 1988 to 1999. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas, attending from 1999 to 2003. Building upon their foundation in computer science, Vytautas continued their studies at Vilniaus universitetas from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a Master's degree in Computer-Aided Modelling.

In addition to their formal education, Vytautas Verseckas has also acquired several certifications. Vytautas received an edX Verified Certificate for Computing in Python III: Data Structures and Computing in Python IV: Objects & Algorithms from edX in December 2020. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from deeplearning.ai in November 2020.
