Michael Long

Michael Long has extensive experience in the quarry and mining sectors, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Asset Care & HME Manager at Boral since June 2005, Michael has held various positions including Asset Care Manager, Asset & Operational Improvement Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, and Quarry Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Hanson UK from August 1989 to June 2003, where Michael worked as Quarry Manager and Land Surveyor. Academically, Michael holds a Diploma in Project Management from Logikal Training International Pty Ltd, a Certificate 4 in Workplace Health and Safety from HBA Learning Centres Pty Ltd, a Certificate 4 in Extractive Industries from Queensland Training Logistics, and completed the IQA Professional Exam in Quarry Management from the University of Derby Online Learning.
