Simon Murcott

Simon Murcott has extensive experience in the concrete and quarry industries, having held various managerial positions since 1992. Currently serving as National Technical Manager at Boral since September 2012, Simon has also held roles such as National Quarries and Recycling Technical Manager and Technical Manager for Quarries in New South Wales. Prior experience includes managing concrete plants in New Zealand with Allied Concrete and serving as Financial Controller at Hi Tech Concrete, where project management for underground concrete supply was a key focus. Earlier positions included Concrete Operations Manager in Macau and multiple managerial roles at Pioneer Concrete in Singapore and Australia. Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Finance and Mandarin Chinese from The University of Queensland.
