Susan Whyte

Susan Whyte is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer operations and smart metering within the energy sector. Currently, Susan serves as the Director of Customer Operations at Bord Gáis Energy, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this, roles at Electric Ireland included Smart Metering Program Manager and Smarter Home Commercialisation Manager, focusing on the commercialization of connected home services from June 2016 to September 2022. Additional experience at Electric Ireland spanned various managerial positions from April 2012 to 2016 and from 2010 to 2012, as well as impactful roles at ESB Independent Energy from 2002 to 2010 and earlier positions in advertising and public relations. Susan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin and has completed a Leadership Development for Women program at Dublin City University.
