Irene Borges has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Irene started their career in 2001 as a Marketing Campaign Coordinator at Diesel-Electric Automotive (Pty) Ltd. Irene then moved on to Sharp Electronics Corporation USA, where they worked as an Advertising Coordinator. Irene later joined Home of Living Brands, where they held various roles such as Category Manager, Marketing GM (SDA), and Channel Marketing Manager. Irene'sresponsibilities included brand management, advertising campaigns, product development, and leading teams to ensure profitability. In 2018, Irene became the Marketing Manager at Smarter SMSF, focusing on increasing subscription members and implementing marketing strategies. Irene then worked as the Head Of Marketing at Porta, a leading supplier of timber decorative products. Irene's role involved strategic goal setting, driving revenue growth, and developing sales and marketing strategies. Irene later joined Eagle Lighting as the Head Of Marketing (ANZ), responsible for creating the company's marketing strategy and developing brand presence in Australia and New Zealand. Irene's most recent role is as the Head of Marketing at Border Express Pty Ltd.
Irene Borges has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from IMM Graduate School, obtained from 2003 to 2005. Irene also holds a Graphics & Web Design Diploma from College Campus, completed from 2000 to 2002. In 2015, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute. Irene Borges has further expanded their skills through various certifications, including Inbound Marketing Certified and Inbound Certificate from HubSpot Academy in 2020.
