Jaime Moreno

Jaime Moreno has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jaime currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board at Boreal Capital Management since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the COO of the same company from September 2014 to August 2022.

Before joining Boreal Capital Management, Jaime Moreno worked at Julius Baer as a Control, Reporting, and Change Manager in 2013 and continued in the same role following the integration of MLBS into BJB. Jaime also supported various projects as part of the formal Project Management Office.

From 2007 to 2013, Jaime Moreno worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management. Jaime held the position of Control, Reporting, and Change Manager, where they managed different teams and oversaw credit services and tax reporting. Jaime was involved in implementing projects related to regulatory changes.

Earlier in their career, Jaime Moreno worked at BBVA Suiza, where they served as the Head of Securities and later as the Head of Reconciliations. In these roles, they supervised teams, managed settlement and booking of trades, and handled tax management and reporting.

Prior to BBVA Suiza, Jaime Moreno was a Consultant at Arthur Andersen, specializing in internal auditing and consultancy for the financial sector. Jaime worked on projects for clients such as BSCH, BBVA, Salomon Brothers, and Hewlett Packard.

Jaime Moreno began their career as an intern in the Investments & New Products department at Telepizza.

Jaime Moreno earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they obtained the ICMA General Certificate from the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) in 2012, and received certification in Foreign Trade from the European Social Fund in 1999.
