Tristan Sylvain

Tristan Sylvain is a Machine Learning Researcher at Borealis AI since July 2021, with a strong background in artificial intelligence and data science. Prior experience includes roles as an Advisor at J2-Reliance Ltd and a Research Intern at Microsoft, where Tristan focused on visual question answering. Academic achievements include a PhD in Deep Learning from Université de Montréal, complemented by a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Oxford and an engineering degree in Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique. Tristan has held various positions, including Research Scientist at Imagia, Data Scientist at AXA and Keyrus, and a co-founder of Echo Home SAS, alongside early experience in automated trading at In Fine Consulting.
