Mary Gilmore

Mary Gilmore is a seasoned biologist with extensive experience in conducting surveys and assessments related to bat and avian species. Currently serving as a Senior Biologist at Borealis Biological since January 2024, Mary specializes in bat species surveys, endangered species habitat assessments, and permitting. Prior to this role, Mary was the Technical Bat Lead at EnviroScience, Inc. for nine years, focusing on endangered bat surveys and habitat assessments. Other notable positions include the Lesser Prairie Chicken Field Technician at Western EcoSystems Technology, Assistant Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., and various research assistant roles at The Ohio State University. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Wildlife Management from The Ohio State University, which was completed in 2008.
