Rafael Vanegas

Rafael Vanegas has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. Rafael began their career at Shaver Industries Inc. in 2015 as a Manufacturer and worked there until July 2016. Rafael then joined Bock North America Ltd. as a Quality Control employee from May 2015 to November 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Product Development Technician at C.R. Plastic Products from May to November. In 2018, Rafael worked as a Mechanical Design Student at Shred-Tech™ for the entire year. From 2019 onwards, they joined Borealis Wind and held various positions including Mechanical Assembler from September to December 2019, Mechanical Designer from January 2020 to September 2021, Production Supervisor & Safety Officer from September 2021 to May 2022, and currently, Rafael is employed as a Production Manager & Safety Officer at Borealis Wind.

Rafael Vanegas is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Manufacturing Engineering at McMaster University, with an expected completion date in 2024. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering Design and Analysis at Conestoga College until 2020.

In terms of certifications, Rafael obtained several in-demand skills. In June 2023, they completed the courses "Creating Powerful Sales Proposals," "Sales Fundamentals," and "Sales Strategies and Approaches in a New World of Selling" through LinkedIn. Additionally, in November 2017, they received certifications in "SOLIDWORKS Mold Tools and Plastic Design" and "SOLIDWORKS Weldments" from SolidProfessor.
