Jiri Curda has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Jiri started their career in 1996 with an internship at Danchem during their high school studies. In 2002, they completed an internship in the marketing department at Kübler. Jiri then joined Europrint Modrany in 2003 as an export coordinator, where they were responsible for key account management and the preparation of proposals for printing and book binding. In 2004, they worked part-time at UGC Cinemas while studying. Jiri then joined Elektronika Navratil in 2005 as a sales representative. In 2006, they joined ExxonMobil as a procurement associate and later became a senior procurement associate. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Armstrong World Industries as a regional manager in procurement for Europe. Jiri'smost recent role is with Borealis, starting in 2014, where they have held various positions, including technical procurement coordinator and project procurement lead in CAPEX projects.

Jiri Curda completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Business Administration from Abertay University in 2004-2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague in 1997-2003. Jiri also had short-term academic experiences as an exchange student at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2001 and as a scholarship recipient at University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) in 2001-2002. Additionally, they received a scholarship for two months at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2003.
