René D'Hase

René D'hase has extensive experience in the field of inspection, coordination, and compliance in various roles. René began their career at Interconnector in 2004 as a Senior Inspector E & I, responsible for coordinating inspections and quality control for a gas compression station project. René then worked on several projects in different industries, including Arcelor, Storaenso, Shell, and Fluxys, where they served as a Senior Inspector E & I, conducting inspections and providing consulting services. In 2007, they joined Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company as a Senior Inspector E & I, performing inspections and quality control for container cranes. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Fluxys as a Senior Inspector E & I, overseeing inspections and quality control for the extension of the LNG terminal in Zeebrugge. René also worked as a Commissioning Manager and Engineer at Fluxys, overseeing the commissioning of gas compression stations and power plants. In 2013, they joined Electrabel as a QAA - E & I & C Contract Manager, managing contracts and ensuring compliance with quality assurance criteria for nuclear power plants. René then worked at various companies, including Oiltanking Antwerp and Exxon-Mobil, in supervisor and coordination roles related to E&I construction projects. Most recently, they worked at Borealis as a Lead Inspection E&I and Compliance & Conformity Coordinator for a European project. René D'hase's work experience demonstrates their expertise in inspection, conformity, and compliance in various industrial sectors.

René D'hase is an electro-mechanical engineer who attended the Industrial Higher Technical Institute BME in Ghent. They have additional certifications in nuclear safety from ECS (GDF SUEZ), and BA4/BA5 kwalificatiecertificaat and VCA-VOL from Vinçotte.
