Christopher Ulshoefer

Christopher Ulshoefer, CPM, serves as the President of the Bergen County Fire Chiefs Association since January 2024 and has been an Advisory Council Member for the NJ Division of Fire Safety-Firefighter Safety and Health Advisory Council since May 2021. Additionally, Christopher is an Advisory Board Member for the New Jersey Statewide Safety Team, focusing on enhancing collaboration among emergency responders. Since January 2014, Christopher has acted as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Borough of Cresskill, responsible for planning and responding to emergencies within the borough. As Chief of Department for the Borough of Cresskill Fire Department since March 2012, Christopher leads a dedicated team committed to emergency response and community welfare. Previous experience includes roles as a Scott AirPak Technician at AAA Emergency Supply Inc. and as a Firefighter with the City of Englewood Fire Department. Christopher's career began as an Electrician with IBEW from 1997 to 2000. Currently pursuing a Certified Public Manager degree at Rutgers University - Newark, Christopher emphasizes professional development in emergency management.
