Matthew Hersh

Matthew Hersh boasts extensive experience in policy, advocacy, and communication. Currently, Matthew serves as the Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey and holds the position of Council President in the Borough of Highland Park. Prior roles include Council Member in Highland Park, Founder and Partner at Hub City Communications, Communications Director at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Director at Jaffe Communications, and Senior Editor at Shelterforce Magazine. Matthew's career in communications began as an Editor at Town Topics and included a role as Communications Specialist at Greater Mercer TMA. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rutgers University.
