Rodrigo Deguzman

Rodrigo Deguzman is the founder and CEO of Borrow. Rodrigo has a background in technology and commercial agreements, e-commerce, and online marketing. Rodrigo has also advised company leaders on business and legal risk, and trained and mentored six attorneys and legal professionals. In their previous position as Associate General Counsel at QuinStreet, they were responsible for all legal matters worldwide, including commercial contracts, technology transactions, intellectual property, litigation, real estate, and compliance. Rodrigo was also responsible for local, state, and regulatory compliance matters, including TCPA, CFPB, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, HIPAA, FTC, Higher Education Act, as well as laws related to email marketing and mortgage licensing. In addition to their work at QuinStreet, they have also developed and maintained a system for drafting, negotiation, and review of all commercial and vendor agreements in a high volume environment. Rodrigo is experienced in managing budgets and determining when to utilize outside counsel.

Rodrigo Deguzman earned their JD from Santa Clara University School of Law and their BA with honors in political science and French from the University of California, Berkeley.
