Uğur Öncü

Uğur Öncü has a strong background in information technology and automotive industry. Uğur started their career at Olivetti in 1992 as an Information Technology Specialist. Uğur then worked at IBM as an Information Technology Expert from 1993 to 1995. From 1995 to 1998, they joined Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. as an Information Technology System & Network Administrator. In 1998, they joined Borusan Holding as an Information Technology System & Network Administrator before taking on the role of IT Systems & Network Manager at Borusan Otomotiv from 1998 to 2007. During this time, they also served as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Uğur then moved on to Borusan Oto Istinye, where they worked as an Accounting and Administrative Affairs Unit Manager from 2009 to 2011 and as a Procurement and Administrative Affairs Manager from 2011 to 2012. Uğur Öncü returned to Borusan Otomotiv in 2013 as the Corporate Risk & Real Estate Investments Manager & Lean Six Sigma Deployment Champion. Uğur then served as the Head of CRM, Digital, Analytics & Lean Six Sigma from 2015 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Business Excellence & Enterprise PMO & Sustainability at Borusan Otomotiv.
