Emily Melo

Emily Melo is an experienced educator currently serving as a High School Spanish Teacher at Boston Arts Academy since August 2021, focusing on heritage speakers and Spanish 2 students. Previously, Emily held the position of Spanish Middle School Teacher at Boston Public Schools from September 2018 to November 2021 and served as a Language Arts High School Teacher at Mi-El Christian School from July 2015 to November 2021, where responsibilities included curriculum development and fostering student relationships. Additionally, Emily worked as an Admissions Coordinator at Boston Arts Academy from November 2013 to July 2015, and as an In Home Therapy Case Manager at Eliot Community Human Services from May 2013 to November 2013. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Regis College, earned in 2012.
