Kathryn Hillman

Kathryn Hillman has extensive experience in the fields of art, history, and library science. Currently serving as a Gift and Membership Revenue Processor at Boston Athenæum since December 2019, Kathryn manages donation processing, liaises between departments, assists members, and handles membership invoicing. Previous roles include Guiding at Historic New England, where Kathryn conducted tours and engaged in preservation efforts, and an internship at the National Library of Scotland in the Rare Books department, focusing on cataloguing manuscripts. Earlier roles also include Visitor Services Wayfinder at the Museum of Fine Arts, Research Assistant at the Cohasset Historical Society, and an intern in the auctions department at Artnet. Kathryn holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons University, a Master of Science in Art in the Global Middle Ages from The University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Fordham University.
