Scott Hempstead has extensive work experience in the beverage industry. Scott started their career as a sales representative at E&J Gallo Winery in 1997. In 1998, they joined The Boston Beer Company as an account manager and gradually advanced to district manager, regional key account manager, and senior national account manager. From 2009 to 2020, they served as the director of national accounts and later as the senior director of on-premise sales. Since December 2020, Scott has held the position of senior director of divisional, trade, and experiential marketing at The Boston Beer Company. In October 2021, they were promoted to the role of senior director of local brands and tap rooms, overlooking a team of over 600 staff members. Scott has worked with a variety of well-known beer brands, including Truly Hard Seltzer, Samuel Adams, Dogfish Head, Angry Orchard, Twisted Tea, Coney Island Brewery, and Angel City Brewery.
