Rui Albuquerque

Rui Albuquerque is a Professor of Finance at Boston College, holding the position since January 2016, and also serves as an Associate Professor of Finance and Haub Distinguished Fellow. As an academic contributor, Rui Albuquerque has been an Associate Editor for the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Portuguese Economic Journal since 2018 and 2015, respectively. Additionally, Rui Albuquerque serves as a Research Associate at the European Corporate Governance Institute and as a Research Affiliate with the Center for Economic Policy Research. Notable past roles include Visiting Scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management and Associate Professor at Boston University School of Management. Rui Albuquerque holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester and a Licenciatura in Economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
