Alexander Schmidt has worked in the engineering field since 2012. In that time, they have worked for KIRCHHOFF Automotive as a CME Intern, Troy Industries as an Engineering Co-op, Hutchinson Aerospace & Industry as an Engineering Co-op, QinetiQ North America as an Engineering Co-op, Northeastern University as a Student Affairs Tech Support, GVD Corporation as a Lead Mechanical Engineer and a Mechanical Engineer, and Dandelion Energy as a Research Development Mechanical Engineer. Most recently, they have been a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Boston Materials since 2022, responsible for designing and implementing solutions based around the fabrication of revolutionary composite materials.
Alexander Schmidt attended Lake Forest High School from 2007 to 2011. Alexander then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University, which they completed in 2016. In addition to their degree, Alexander also obtained certifications in CSWP-Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes in April 2016, CSWA-Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes in March 2016, and GD&T from the Regional Employment Board of Hampden County in July 2013.
