Nena S. Negron, Esquire, currently serves as the Deputy General Counsel for the Boston Water & Sewer Commission, a position held since October 2021, where responsibilities include legal representation, internal counsel, policy analysis, litigation support, and compliance oversight. Admitted to the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Nena oversees the Commission's adherence to regulations such as the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Prior experience includes operating a private practice focused on civil litigation and appellate advocacy, as well as working as an associate attorney in a general practice law firm. Nena holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, a candidacy for a Master of Arts in Government from Harvard University Extension School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from UMass Boston.
